77 days to go
Norway have scored 77 goals over
the past six editions of the FIFA Women's World Cup™, the third highest scoring
country in tournament history behind USA (98 goals) and Germany (91 goals).
Norway accumulated 23 goals en
route to winning Sweden 1995, including beating Germany 2-0 in the Final in
Solna. On the other hand, the Norwegians only scored twice in a disappointing
2011 campaign in Germany.
Even Pellerud’s side are now
hoping to increase that tally at Canada 2015 against Germany, Côte d'Ivoire and
Thailand in Group B.
