“There is a life with fame, but it's not a real
life. it's behind guarded Windows
and blacked out screens and private planes. it's like this weird
Thing
with famous people. It's like a sickness where they know each
Other,
like in a little club, and Iʼve found most of them to be self-obsessed,
shallow, and absolutely vile.” Pete Burns of Dead or Alive/“You Spin
Me Round ( Like A Record ).
Burns joins Academy Award winner MEL BROOKS, Modern Talking's
THOMAS ANDERS, Milli Vanilliʼs FAB MORVAN and
many more International music legends of the ʼ80s to tell their
incredible personal Stories in a groundbreaking, revealing NEW BOOK!

More selected quotes from the
book:
“It was almost 40 years after the war
and the whole Hitler thing, and I figured what the hell
– there shouldnʼt be a problem anymore. But I guess the Germans knew
there were some bad things in their past, and maybe they didn't want
to be reminded of it in a rap song.”
Mel Brooks on his hit “To Be Or Not To Be (The Hitler
Rap)
“We signed the recording contract without an attorney
or manager. We had no experience whatsoever. [As the scandal broke,] the
media didnʼt care about any of that. The media were like wolves – they smelled
blood and went after US.” - Fab Morvan of the duo
Milli Vanilli (“Girl You Know Itʼs True”)
